Epson D92 printer overview

The Epson Stylus D92 is the entry level cheap solution for everyday general printing. Although the price tag of the D92 is cheap the Epson D92 ink cartridges are the same printer ink cartridges as used in other more expensive mid range printers so its no cheaper to run than some of the more expensive Epson printers. It well worth mentioning that there are compatible printer cartridges available for the D92 and they cost considerably less than the originals and make the D92 a far more attractive purchase. The thing that makes the biggest impression when you start using the D92 is the noise, its loud even for a cheap entry level printer. The quality of print however is excellent, doesn’t matter if your printing a page of text or a photo the results are pin sharp every time. This level of quality comes at a price however and that is a lack of speed. The Epson D92 should be able to print 25 pages per minute as it says in the spec sheet but how Epson achieved this is anyone’s guess as the maximum it can do when printing general documents is 2.5 pages per minute. Printing photos is even worse with a medium size photo taking a jaw dropping 11 minutes. This lack of speed rules out the Stylus D92 being suitable more people who ant to print more than 10 pages at a time of a regular basis. Overall the Stylus D92 has a quality feel and its well designed too. Small and compacted it looks modern and should look out of place in most environments.
